In an aristocratic environment of imposing residential mansions with eclectic, floral facades, art nouveau decoration and reliefs, we do a double take when we see this tiny, minimalist, spare, geometrical café that seems to have nothing to do with the Rococo style all around.
Fluid is not striking for design or aesthetic sense, being totally without decoration or colour. Everything here is neutral, unrefined, in dark or light greys. The only chromatic component is the product, which contrasts with the monochrome premises.
But Fluid leaves its mark in the ecological area: it doesn’t just promote the health, taste and quality of its food, it also aims for an environment oriented towards sustainability based on the ecological quality of its décor and is careful about the materials and resources used. The shop has received LEED certification and we as designers completely support careful planning for our future and the well-being of us all.
